Madison looks like a statue! I think your house is wonderful -I like all the unusual things -much more interesting than living in the burbs with matching furniture and color corrdinated everything.
Oh, I live in "the burbs." Mine is an older neighborhood, very family-oriented, middle income, tons of kids.
I think the original neighborhood ("Ferndale Park") was planned and built in the 30s, though a few of the homes are older, like mine (1917), and the one two houses down, which might be late 1800s. The one on the corner was 1870, but when the old woman who'd lived there for like 70 years was put in a nursing home, the property was purchased by developers (OH GOODY - NOT) and two big houses put up.
I miss the old house on the corner, but I did save the front door when the home wreckers were doing their thing - it has a little bell in it, so when you open the door, it plays a little chimey tune. I've never installed it anywhere, but someday.....

Your pantry looks much better than mine (it's the one place in my house that truly a mess).
And, what an absolutely gorgeous cat!!!
It's called editing :-) I only photographed the neat part.
And yes, Madison (aka The Puffy Cat) *is* gorgeous! And a sweetie.

I'd love a pantry!
yours is an adorable pantry. It's fun looking at all your treasures.
Bettye, your cat is GORGEOUS. I know I've told you that before, but every time I see her, she looks even prettier. :)
